Two long time friends
George & Willy are two long time friends with a pretty specific passion. Signage. They believe signage is more than just something people have on or outside their stores. Signage creates a feeling. A good sign will introduce your space in the right way. Because we all know first impressions count.


Lining the streets
Starting out with a couple of unique product ideas, George and Willy found their niche in signage and quickly grew a cult following around the world. With the goal of penetrating as many of these global markets as they could, running a multi-currency model just wasn’t working efficiently enough with expanding distribution network and need to differentiate product offerings and offers for the local markets. Working closely with the Shopify Plus team, we were able to aid the shift to a multi regional store model, differentiating between ANZ, Europe and the rest of the world, whilst at the same time implementing a simplified bespoke shipping model.

Grown up nicely
Having matured from a relatively small catalogue of products, re-developing categories to incorporate advanced ajax filtering and cross collection navigation was key. The primary objective was to minimise the steps in the user journey to transaction by introducing ability to select and add variants to the cart directly from collection pages, whilst at the same time ensuring cross-selling opportunities would not be evaded as a consequence. Visitors were served items directly within the mini cart based on past order data and intelligence rather than standardised obscure product relations.
